This is how the pilot of my British Airways plane back to Denver last week opened all his messages from the cockpit. He then introduced the splendid crew, remarked on the splendidly sunny London weather, and wished us all a splendid onward journey. He also warned of recalcitrant weather in Denver which might create some potholes in our path.
